Special ConsiderationsI have numerous medical conditions that prevent me from maintaining a standard offline job or allowing me to sit behind a computer for long periods of time. For this reason, I am a very heavy mobile user who tends to focus on Blogstyle blogs and Discord for the majority of my roleplaying.I do have a few blogs that are Threading blogs and welcome thread-writing on the dash, but please understand that I can't guarantee daily replies for the reasons stated above. I tend to focus on a couple days a week where I can work on threads and then post them in the order that I received a reply.

General Conduct

☼ 20+ To Interact - I recognize not all minors would make attempts to push for adult roleplay or other graphic content, but due to experiences in the past of minors lying to me about their age to get NSFW RP, I don't feel comfortable roleplaying with minors.☼ Rules and Profiles Required - I do not roleplay with people who do not have rules or a roleplaying profile for their characters somewhere. I don't mind personal blogs sending in asks to my muses, but I will not roleplay with personal blogs.☼ Communicate - If something is confusing, please ask me! If something bothers you, please tell me! It’s too late when a month has passed to express an issue with something that has happened; I can’t fix a problem that I don’t know exists. I will stop all interactions if I discover I am being mistreated over something that was upsetting to you 6 months ago that I was not spoken to about, yet held responsible for.☼ Blocking - I don't hardblock/permablock people. I will, however, hardblock any blogs that I come across on my dash who have blocked me despite never interacting with them. Regardless of someone's views on "dash cleaning", I will not un-block a person who has blocked me simply for existing.☼ IC =/= OOC - Please do not take In Character actions or writing personally. If something bothers you OOC, please communicate instead of assuming the words of my muse are somehow filling in for my own. It’s extremely uncomfortable to be disliked OOC because of an IC exchange between characters, and I will not interact with people who are unable to separate me from the character I am writing.☼ My Muse Isn’t Perfect - I don’t always condone or approve of the actions my muses take. They can say mean things, act out, or do something violent, especially if I’m writing to maintain a canon character in a world I had no part in writing. My muse may have a list of bad habits but that does not mean I agree with or support those habits: roleplaying is fluid and muses sometimes react in-character in ways that’s annoying to us OOC.☼ Be Respectable - I don’t tolerate unpleasant behavior. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, etc. I’m not expecting everyone to be perfect, but I don’t want to surround myself with people who think it’s ok to be nasty to others over things out of their control.☼ Scheduling - I tend to be easier to reach on Discord over Tumblr, and can go days running a queue over posting. Feel free to send me a DM, but please allow me a few days to see that I received it.☼ No Godmodding - Don’t take control of my character, write in actions or dialogue for my character, assume my character’s actions, or make decisions for my muse without talking to me first.☼ No Metagaming - Don’t take OOC knowledge and bring it into IC territory when your muse shouldn’t know this information exists. It’s one thing if the situation calls for it (a spy knowing someone’s information), but when it doesn’t (a baker knowing someone’s information), it’s wildly uncomfortable.☼ Be Muse Responsible - Muse actions have consequences, and I'm absolutely not here to roleplay with people who want to start fights with my characters, but cry foul and have a fit when my muse stands up for themselves. If you cannot handle the consequences of your muse's actions, I'm not going to RP with you.☼ Post Content Is Important - When it comes to writing, I can do anything from short and sweet to novels in length. I never expect anyone to match me, especially when a starter is mostly background descriptions for a scene, but if I write 4 paragraphs and only get two sentences back? I can’t write with that. I need to feel equal interest in the thread I’m writing, and it's hard to feel like my RP partner is interested with replies like that.☼ Don't Be A Reply Hound - I don't mind asking about a reply occasionally, but pestering me every day starts to put a lot of unnecessary pressure on my shoulders. This makes RP feel like I'm now doing homework or having to complete a work assignment over a fun hobby.☼ Common Decency - I don't follow people who post about drama constantly, reblog or make call-out posts, or try to force my hand with who I'm allowed to roleplay with.

☼ Chemistry Is King - I’m unable to ship my muses with other characters if chemistry hasn’t been established. Sometimes chemistry happens quickly, other times it’s slow burn, but if my muse doesn’t click with yours, I can’t force myself to write out a ship I don’t feel any interest in. Even if it’s a ship I personally enjoy, it doesn’t necessarily mean our muses will work out.☼ No Shipping With People Under 21 - I'm not comfortable shipping with someone under 21 due to my own age and personal experiences with people in the past.☼ No Pre-Established Romantic Relationships - I can’t do pre-established relationships due to rule one above. If the ship exists in canon, it doesn’t change my mind on this at all. It’s very stressful to have people I’ve never spoken to approach me and assume two muses are suddenly married or dating when I’ve never written with them before.☼ Mun Interest Is Necessary - If I feel a disinterest from the other mun I’m writing a ship with, it kills my desire to want to continue the ship. I need active interest taking place to let me know I’m not wasting my time.☼ NSFW =/= Ship - Please don't mistake my muse's sexual interest to mean romantic interest. Some of my muses are very open to the idea of one night stands and Friends-With-Benefits but that doesn't mean they want to date your muse.

Why Don't You Use Icons In Your Threaded RP?☼ As an artist I have been deeply involved in a lot of art communities over the years, and many of my fellow artists have a huge problem with people who clip the faces out of their artwork to make reaction images with them. To be respectful to these fan artists, I refuse to use icons.
☼ Unfortunately, not all characters have a sufficient supply of source material I can use over fan artwork, so I skip using icons entirely. I would rather my writing speak for me.I Don't Understand The Appeal Of A Blogstyle Blog, Those Aren't Traditional.☼ Blogstyle blogs are more for people who want to focus solely on the direct in-character only interactions between muses. Simply put, the character themselves are running the blog, posting about their interests, sharing what they like, and talking for themselves. Blogstyle doesn't make use of headcanons or drabbles, threads, or OOC to express information about the characters, but instead, we as a writer have to engage the character organically the same way as we would speak to another writer or meet new friends. Its a "Show, Don't Tell" style of writing that prioritizes learning a muse from how the muse chooses to present themselves, over a "Tell, Don't Show" style of writing that has us as the writer tell everyone about the character. It provides a different style of interaction that is also friendlier to mobile users, since any face-to-face meet ups are written through Discord threading or other types of outside chat applications.What Is Your Writing Schedule Like?☼ Flexible but never set. Sometimes I may reply to threads every single day for hours nonstop, other days I may only reply to one thread. I never have "empty days" where replies are left hanging and go ignored, but I have to make sure I realistically pace myself so I don't experience burn-out. For this reason I do use Thread Tracker so everyone can see what's going on with my threads.What Does Semi-Selective Mean For You?☼ Semi-Selective for me basically is saying "Hey, I'll check you out and give you a chance for RP, but whether it continues long-term or not depends on how our writing meshes with each other."Why Won't You RP With People 18/19? Aren't They Adults?☼ By legal technicality in the United States where I live, 18 is the age of consent. 21 is the legal adult age to drink. My personal comfort is why, because I feel odd roleplaying with people who are the same age as the years I've been roleplaying for.
